Julie Ann San Jose Expresses Interest To Work With Kapamilya Stars

Networks have been visibly lenient with the crossover of some artists for specific projects and it has opened opportunities for artists to have collaborations which were unthinkable before. This has made stars like Julie Ann San Jose more optimistic in working with stars from different networks.

In a recent interview with ABS-CBN, Julie Ann shared how happy she is that networks are allowing more and more chances for their artists to participate in projects that are not necessarily in the same network. “It’s just good to know that people are more open to working with everyone kasi ang art walang limits eh. Kasi when you’re an artist, you’re open to possibilities and to work and collaborate with anyone. It doesn’t matter kung anong station siya, kung anong channel or walang siyang group. Dapat open lang talaga,” says Julie Ann.

The Kapuso actress and singer who is also signed under Universal Records started with stating how she is open to collaborating with different artists in the industry, “I want to work with Shanti [Dope]. We met one-time sa isang event and Universal Records also put us together and then I saw him. And then I said, ‘I’m such a fan’ and we had a picture together. It was really nice meeting him. Sobrang down-to-earth niya. Sobrang talented niya. Ang real kasi niya,” Julie Ann starts. When asked if she is open to collaborating with Kapamilya heartthrob Donny Pangilinan she says, “Well, I haven’t really met him, but he seems really nice. May mga friends din ako na friend siya so I hope to meet him someday and I hope to work with him also.”

Apart from musical collaborations, Julie Ann also shared who she would want to work with from the other network if given the chance. “Piolo (Pascual). No need for explanations. Piolo,” Julie Ann tells ABS-CBN with a cheerful laugh.

With more and more chances given to artists for collaborations, we’re sure that this isn’t too far off from happening!
